pedro

root@server:~$ My name is Pedro Miguel Alves, currently living and working in Iceland for the past 3 years. I have been working as It Systems Engineer for many years now, always using Microsoft licensed products but always an unconditional fan of open source and LINUX.

root@server:~$ Where I work, I was very surprised when I  was asked last year to start implementing Linux open source servers. Not only because of their low maintenance and high up time, but specially because of KREPPA, crisis. Talking about Kreppa, that was one of the major starts of THE BOX PROJECT IN ICELAND, helping companies cutting by 90% software, licenses and maintenance costs by using  extremely viable open source products.
